Definitions
The terms "we" or "us" refer to Kensal Town Minicabs, the service provider. "You" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
Booking
2.1 It is imperative that you allow sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers requiring timely check-in for flights. Kensal Town Minicabs cannot be held accountable for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or unpreparedness for collection at the agreed-upon time.
2.2 Ensuring the appropriate car size for passengers and luggage is your responsibility. Kensal Town Minicabs does not guarantee accommodation for excessive luggage. Additionally, each child, regardless of age, is considered a separate passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access must be made at the time of booking.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Quotations provided by Kensal Town Minicabs are based on the information provided by you. Unless specified otherwise, prices exclude VAT, which will be charged separately if applicable. Material changes to the itinerary may result in adjustments to the quoted price.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period post-landing, along with airport parking fees. Any additional waiting time will be subject to standard waiting rates. While we endeavor to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review the confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify Kensal Town Minicabs of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we are not liable.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any damage or spoilage to the vehicle caused by passengers may incur cleaning charges.
4.2 Consumption of food, beverages, or smoking is strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
4.3 Child passengers must be appropriately restrained based on their age, height, and weight.
4.4 The number of passengers must not exceed the licensed or insured capacity of the vehicle.
Cancellations
5.1 If you need to cancel a booking, please inform us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after dispatch may incur charges based on the distance traveled by the driver.
5.2 Cancellation fees may apply for bookings made through our online system if canceled before dispatch.
Liability
6.1 While we strive to ensure punctual arrival, we are not liable for losses incurred due to circumstances beyond our control.
6.2 Your luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to arrange alternative transportation promptly.
6.4 You indemnify Kensal Town Minicabs against any expenses, damages, or losses resulting from the actions of individuals in your party.
6.5 Liability for personal injury, death, negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation cannot be excluded or limited by any applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of our vehicle or driver is compromised by you or any passenger. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 Kensal Town Minicabs may subcontract its obligations under this agreement. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our consent.
8.2 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions, with changes being effective upon updating this page. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information by the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Kensal Town Minicabs.
8.5 Third parties do not have enforceable rights under this agreement unless expressly stated in writing.
Disputes
Any disputes or claims must be raised within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims made after this period may not be entertained by Kensal Town Minicabs.
